exactly right , you mean left and right venturi parts or gaskets within one carb , correct , not left and right carbs? which are ( I believe ) identical ? I had a problem where a csrb has been recently rebuilt by others , as proven to me by a swap I made to another whole ram carb which worked ok . I seem to remember a mechanical venturi key too ? While from memory and long ago i took apart and noticed a different hole pattern where venturi joined the main body of the two sides . But pattern on either side did not align perfectly . This was further complicated by the gaskets were slightly different and one covered a hole seemingly blocking it .On purpose? However the gaskets can be flipped over 180 as well as two places to put them and still fit the space but various passages are blocked or restricted . So — many ways to put together wrong . I could not find this info anywhere , nor would you notice it unless you knew or were hyper aware or just lucky . Or kept parts right side up and separate . i believe i compared it to another good carb and blew up a picture in fsm or repair parts list especially regarding the gaskets But immediately the question arises if someone else rebuilt it wrong and you copy that ! Sorry for lack of more specifics on this — but yes there is an issue there of incorrect assembly for sure . jg Sent from my iPhone On Dec 4, 2023, at 7:29 PM, John Nowosacki <jsnowosacki@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
