The previous owner should have spent less time striping the car and focussed on adjusting the front bumper……that always drives me crazy. Lol 

The only red stripe on an ‘L’ should be on the upper trim. 1966 300’s have a medallion on the roof, although the roof on the ’66 is quite different, perhaps this was what inspired the previous owner to add such a thing?

I just purchased a 65 300L and was trying to find out what the option package was for this model I have that has trim different than most all I see.

I have seen two others online with this trim, but find no information on what it is. The things I notice are the 300L emblem on the C pillar, plus the red having been added to much of the trim all around. Maybe you know or can help?
