Hi Nick, ’58 Imperial spinners are similar to G/H/J but not quite the same. The ears are a bit different. Not sure if the diameter is the same. Carl From: Nick Taylor Carl, Do you know if the spinners are the same as 1958 Imperial wheel covers? Sure looks like it. I know Chrysler repurposed this same design of wheel cover over many years. The early 1959 Imperial wheel cover body, which is 14", is the same design as the 300E and 300F but with different gear appliques. The dome under the 300 gear is the same as the dome on the Imperial, but not polished. The late 1959 Imperial wheel cover body, which is 15", was used as the basis for the 300G/H/J covers by changing the center to the spinner, I believe from the '58 Imperial. Then these same wheel cover bodies reappeared on the first Chrysler disk brake cars with the wording added to the face, and changing out the 300 emblem for a gold one. I put 15" 1959 Imperial wheel covers on my 1960 Chrysler New Yorker wagon. While I was restoring my 300F wheel covers, I put one of the gears in the middle to see what it would look like. Too many teeth. I'm going to collect up another set and keep them for the future in case I can't get new 14" tires for the 300F. I'll remove the outer gear and fill in the three holes. I think that would be a better look than the 15" wheels made to take 14" wheel covers. You end up with too much black between the cover and the whitewall. BTW, you couldn't use the 1959 Imperial 15" ones with G/H/J spinners, as the hole in the cap is too big once you remove the dome. You could use G/H/J, or even the disk brake ones, to make E/F ones but there wouldn't be a dome under the gear for support and you'd have to be really careful in centering the gear.
