I installed an electric fuel pump in my F.  I  tapped into the rear window defroster wiring in the trunk.  I only use the pump to "top off" the carburetor and then turn it off so the defroster is not used much.  This way I do not have to crank a long time after the car is setting idle for a long time.  So if you have the defroster, this is a solution.  Besides, you do not have to run a wire all the way from pump to the Astradome.

Would anyone happen to have a spare Astradome switch for sale?  I'm preparing to install an auxiliary electronic fuel pump and was thinking it would be neat to replace one of my dummy switches with one that activated the fuel pump vs. toggle switch under the dash.
