I think the "only one" status of the '58 Adventurer is either it is the only one known that originally started out with fuel injection or possibly this is the car that Tom White restored and added fuel injection back on the car. Also maybe the only convert that is primarily gold in color.

You are correct, there are a handful of other '58 Adventurer converts out there. I think less than 10 total, legit cars. There are also a couple made from a Fireflite I believe.

Just came across this on one of the Studebaker FB sites. The white 4 speed F convertible is in the group along with a number of other cars that are no doubt known to the club. (I did think there was more than one ‘58 Adventurer convertible extant?)

I got the impression they are all out of one collection but may be wrong.
