Is Johnny’s car a Crown, though ? Ron From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Behalf Of dplotkin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The 1955 Imperial Crown was indeed a 12 volt system and this would account for slow motors. Dan -----Original Message----- I have read that 1955 Imperial Crown models were 12 volt systems Bob J From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of Ron Waters Johnny – Have you tested them off the car ? If they still have issues on the bench, then they need to be rebuilt, correctly this time. If they only have issues when installed, then something is binding in the window assembly. Were they rebuilt with 12V components ?
