one carb may have slight vacuum as at idle as only one is passing air, vacuum could be due to air cleaner restriction on top if on it . I have noticed the Holley 1 bbl on slant six( great carb by the way ) has a hole like that above throttle in barrel . Thought a mistake or someone did it . Maybe it adds air squirt during choke operation , or some part of warmup plan ? I have never been able to find what the intent is, never noticed it on wcfb , but did on holley . And I think afb May be on many carbs? why ?? remains . “Vacuum leak “ has to be below throttle. ( loose carb , gasket? ) or in intake or c vacuum accessories like PB attached to plenum ?
