Dear Henry,

Thank you for attending and for providing a "snapshot" of the funeral to those of us who could not be there.

The loss of Mick hit me hard. As many have said, he had a real joie de vivre, was kind, generous, caring and loved his cars and his family (and friends). It was always a treat to see his phone number pop up on the phone and to quickly figure out whether I should wish him a good morning or a good evening. A warm conversation always ensued and not always about cars.

RIP Mick, it was truly a privilege to know you and very sad to lose you.

I went to Mick’s funeral today. I thought it was odd to be held at his acreage property until I got there and saw the number of cars arriving. In all I estimate that 200 people attended.

While I only knew Mick for about five years he always struck me as a very kind, very generous, honest and humorous man. Listening to the many speeches given today it became apparent that he was like this his whole life and he was truly missed by everyone in attendance.

Note that his love of cars was highlighted and his 300F was displayed front and centre shining in the sunlight.
