As to why this happened to All 3 not a clue. I would suspect the neutral safety switch or circuit. It provides a ground for starter when car is in Park or neutral. Meaning no sound, no click of the relay or solenoid, just nothing. The next car- same thing. And you betcha, the same thing on the next one. All three cars would not turn over, not even a click, as if the battery was dead but they were all charged. > > In this case there is a temporary work-around: > On the starter relay, there is a brown wire that I think is a ground or momentary ground when required. As I was troubleshooting I found that if I ran a jumper wire (shown here in white) from the brown wire on the relay, to a decent ground, that restored normal starting. > > -- > For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to chrysler-300-club-international+unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. > To view this discussion on the web visit https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/chrysler-300-club-international/A5ED619C-4383-4524-85A1-1B876A404F28%40gmail.com. -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group. It’s anyone’s guess as to why they would all three have the issue at the same time. I have been driving 63/64s for 20 years and never seen this. I did replace one of the relays (just for schnitts and schnizzles), and it didn’t change anything. > > Will report back if a cause is discovered. In the meantime has anyone else had this happen with a 63/4? Depending on the problem it may rear its head on other years too. I have started carrying a jumper wire in the cars. > > D&K > > > > Sent from my iPhone > > -- > For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
