Many years ago, from memory, I corresponded with Gil Cunningham about my 300C with its original engine. The car was built 4 April 1957. I found a very faint stamping on the front driver’s side of the block for 2 April 1957 as per the photo, seemingly the date the engine was completed. Casting date of the block on 12 March as per the photo. Also found the engine number stamped on the top of the chassis midway along the right hand side which not many people were aware of. Unfortunately you can’t see it unless you take the body off. Henry From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ridgleyracing65 Is there a Casting Date and/or a Engine Build Date on the 1957 392 cu in motors? I know the engine number is stamped in front of the valley cover, but does the block have a Casting Date or Build Date also on it?
