I've wondered where this G went, since watching it cross the Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction block in January 2002. This was before I owned my F and joined our 300 Club. My eyes opened wide when I saw it hammer for $192k, and assumed that strong price was because it was a stickshift, and possibly its unusual color..
Then, just a few cars later, a black G TorqueFlite convertible hammered for $196k. I later discovered that Jeff Carter had restored this black ragtop.
