Well, I figured it out. I took the headlights and buckets off one side. I see the 5th bolt.
The head must be screwed up for some reason. I was able to back it out from the end of it from the headlight side. I hate undercoating over bolts! James From: 'James Douglas' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hi All, I need to pull those little 90 degree trim parts that attach to the body at the grill opening. You know the ones, that require getting the front fender splash shield off. I tried to get one off yesterday and it felt like it was still attached. The four bolts were pulled. There is something right in the middle of the shield. I thought it was a bolt under the undercoating. But it tis not. It almost looks and feels like there is an insert or something in it. Does something screw
to it from the headlight bucket side? Given it has been decades since I had one off, I just do not remember, and the parts book is not detailed enough to show it. Can anyone advise as I am up at the Winters house and have the lift to get under there. I need to get these off in the next few hours.
