Tony, Welcome to the Club! In addition to what Keith has offered, I’ll put in my 2 cents worth. Understanding that all Letter Cars were built in small quantities, restoring and maintaining them are not quite the same as cars that have had many examples produced. Parts are where you find them. EBay, swap meets, Vans Auto, Rock Auto, Lectric Limited (spark plug wire reproductions) Quirey Quality Design (reproduction interior parts and more) Hemmings (various suppliers and rebuilders). Wrecking yards like Big M Auto Wrecking in N. California and Murray B. Park in OH (used and new Mopar parts), Len Dawson’s Deception Pass Motor Parts NOS Mopar, and check out local auto part stores that have been in business a long time, they can sometimes surprise you. Oh, and be sure and read the newsletters for reproduction parts and offerings, as well as enjoying the effort Andy Mikonis puts into compiling it on a regular basis. Study our Club website and read all the tech section stuff, there’s a lot there, take your time. Feel free to post and if you’re comfortable with doing so, attach some pictures of your car, we’d love to see it. 300ly, Bob Jasinski Danville, CA ‘61 300G black convertible owner since January 1978 From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of Anthony Cutrone Hi, I just Purchased my first 300 (1960 F) Also just joined the club. First I am replacing the gas tank this week that is leaking The car has been sitting for some time so I would like to start by giving it a basic tune up and see where that leads. Should I use the original copper type plugs or any special wires? Can anyone recommend an online store to use for miscellaneous parts. Thanks - Tony I live in Long Island, New York. If anyone is local to me, please reach out. -- For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chrysler 300 Club International" group.
