I think it was more likely a supplier issue. My mom and dads 300K was built in 1963 and it was smooth. So is the current 300K and it is a 1963 build. I have seen differences between plants, having different suppliers but since Bob mentioned that all the 300’s were Detroit, that leaves that idea out.
