Nick and Dan,

I'm confused. Dan, if the code on your build sheet was 96, that indicates Blue Streaks which we know had the blue sidewall port.

The Captive-Air code was 69 according to Nick's order form and only on NYer wagons (900x14). That is not to say that a special request could have been made for such tire on a "F" but the build of 96 is the Blue Streak that we know if fitted with an inner safety liner would be made equivalent to the Captive Air. Maybe that was done after delivery?

What fun trying to unravel.

The code on my build sheet is 96 and, yes, the jack instruction label was mounted in the trunk. I have replaced it with a more presentable one.

Thanks for that! What tire code is on your build card? Standard code for a 300F is 96. Did your car have the jack instruction label in the trunk?

Attached is a photo of a decal I had Gary Goers reproduce for my F over 25 years ago. We used the old decal as a guide. Apparently my car came with these tires.
