Re: {Chrysler 300} Seatbelt

In 1964, seat belts were optional front and rear. The cars came from the factory with anchor bolts for the front seat belts only. Cars ordered with front seat belts had them in the car. Cars delivered to dealers without seat belts were either sold without seat belts or had dealer installed seat belts. Front and rear seat belts were available at the dealer, dealer installed. Front belt kits easily bolted to the factory installed anchors for the front seats. Rear belts required the installation of rear anchors and belts.
