Ah.....my dad's favorite toast was...."Here's to the good people.....damn few of us left." My strongest memory was when Chrysler left us a 300m (lower case m) and I talked him into drag-racing the first 300 and the last (at that time) at some meet where we had a race track. Rita wasn't so hot for the idea because they needed to drive the C300 home intact but Daryl was game and the 6 cylinder car won. Darly was far from Normal.

Just to let you and club members know that Daryl Miller of Normal, IL passed away Nov 21. He was diagnosed with cancer the first of August. His obituary was in our daily paper on November 25. That paper is The Pantagraph of Bloomington, IL. He really enjoyed his time with the club and when he first got his 55 C 300, he was thrilled. He later added a 58 D. He loved going to the meets and sure enjoyed the many good Hemi lovers that attended.
