Hi Mike, I thought about lubricating the back plate, but I have not done so yet. It would seem that the shoe can vibrate against the back plate at low speeds when my foot is gradually easing up on the pressure. Why would this be more prevalent when the shoes are hot? Thanks again! Mark PS – Would white grease or brown wheel cylinder grease be a good choice? From: 'mwl1967' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mark, have you lubricated the brake shoe contact points on the backing plate? Are you sure you have the front shoe in the forward position and not mixed up? Have you tried new springs?
