Best to order them with black powder coat and 2 small elevations on either side of the valve stem which keeps the original hubcaps from creeping. 

You can also upgrade to 235/R15 tires with white wall insert from Diamond Back and order the 16” wheels that accept the original 14” hubcaps.

Can anyone advise if they have used a Wheel Vintiques 14 inch by 6 wheel successfully with stock factory 14 inch hubcaps?  The part numbers are:

 

summit number WVI-12-461204

 

Wheel Vintiques Number 12-461204

 

The above are the same wheel, just different part numbers. The back space is 4 inch which is what I measured on the factory spare in the car.  I am concerned that the diameter for the hubcaps will not be correct, measured at about 13-1/2 to 13-5/8 inch. I am also wondering if the valve stem hole falls correctly.

 

Anyone who has used these wheels or tried them,  I would appreciate your experience.
