Hi, The tachs are known to short out , someone may have pulled off the white wire .
-- If you get a short on any gauge in the EL system I it kills all the lights . It usually does not hurt the power supply although on G they added a small fuse taped to the harness . It can be hard to find which gauge etc is shorting out , — essentially pull one wire off at a time till it lights up . Hopefully not the issue here , but just as heads up if reconnecting it kills the lights . Because the way the connections are the problem is often the feed to the moving needle setup .
