Just throwing it out there, but I use 7096 as the top hose whether it’s a/c or not. That’s because even though you may see hose 777 called out for non a/c cars, it’s just a shorter hose. The 7096 is longer and you can trim what you don’t need. If you have a/c definitely go with the 7096 if choosing Napa products. If your hose ends up slightly short on an a/c car, you run the risk of the hose touching the a/c belts and rubbing through. The 7096 gives plenty of clearance.
