I ALWAYS put any car I have that I own that has been sitting more than a week in neutral for a count of 60 - 90 seconds. I wait until oil pressure is up - I’ve tested the brake pedal - and the engine is running smoothly. Then and only then do I ease the car into gear. The next thing I do is - after it’s out - is put back in neutral- with the brake on - and walk back in the garage to see what is left on the floor - if anything. I have a sheet of cardboard under each car to anything.
-- These vehicles are designed to be used and prolonged storage really hurts them. I try to drive everyone of my vehicles once a month or 6 weeks on the outside. Winter storage from January to March is the only time they sit for a prolonged period. Hank On Aug 8, 2022, at 10:38 PM, Ryan Hill <ryan_hillc300@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
