Assuming you have a 300H SC2-H Parts book calls for: 2 ea #2448-398 outer = MOOG #ES-320RL 2 ea #2278-989 inner = MOOG #ES-668 No difference from Plymouth or Dodge same year Cross reference and search for these numbers Good luck! From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of gary hitchins Hello All, I'm experiencing what I think is excessive steering play in my '62 300 sport. Current plan of attack is to have the steering gear rebuilt by steer and gear in Ohio, and to replace at least the outer tie rod ends, as minor play is evident. Does anyone have a source for tie rod ends? In searching for tie rod ends, there seems to be a difference for the tie rod ends based on which engine was originally optioned, which in my case would be a 413, can someone also confirm this? I found one source on ebay that has them listed for the 383, but not for the 413. Thank you all in advance for any assistance you can provide. -- Gary O.
