{Chrysler 300} 300H breaker plate.

Here is a pic of the breaker plate that came with the pieces missing distributor that I purchased. Note the ugly broken wire soldered to the plate. Was there a wire there from the factory, or is this something that has been added on? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I also want to thank everyone for answering my questions about previous parts wanted. You have all been a great help. Thanks again.
