Enjoyed 3 great days at Iola - great to visit with several Club members -
- Bob Brown and George Collar with their red D convertible, white E coupe, black E convertible, PP-1 888 F coupe, red F convertible and Sheffield Silver 888 G convertible, black '57 Adventurer convertible, along with their true survivor black '48 Stude Land Cruiser sedan
- Brian Frank joined, and his brother Bruce displayed his white '59 Adventurer coupe
- David Frank brought his black '59 Sportsman coupe
- Mike Meier and some friends of his
- Herb Grube visited - left his Polar Blue F coupe at home
- Jim Jungwirth visited - is advertising his Platinum '55 C300 for sale in our Club classifieds
- Chris and Beth Cutts brought their pink & gray '58 Dodge Royal coupe on Friday and black 300-C coupe on Saturday.
- Randy Guyer and Sally Liddy brought their PP-1 300-F convertible, and friend Brent Matson brought his true survivor low mile white '60 Dart Phoenix 4-dr hardtop, and Randy's restorer Mike Swedal joined us in lots of Mopar restoration talk.
- Friends Milt McMillan and Paul Brieske brought their maroon '58 Packard (Packard-baker!) station wagon - as rare or rarer than many of our Letter Cars.
- Friends Brad and Rhonda Paulson, Paul and Karen, brought their silver '60 NYer convertible, blue '70 Challenger 340 convertible and white/red '60 Polara coupe, along with drinks, fresh sandwiches with trimmings and homemade pastries to keep us well fed every day.
- Saturday morning a young fellow named Drew and his family from near Pittsburgh brought his stunning red '62 300 Sport coupe - all original low mile car that had been his late grandfather's since new. Drew promised he'll be joining our Club! This '62 Sport was Drew's follow-up to his true survivor red/white Custom Royal D500 4-dr hardtop that he brought to our tent last year.
- Sorry I missed Club member Kurt Brueske from Nebraska, who stopped by on Thursday while I was out exploring. Glad that Kurt visited with Randy Guyer.
- Also, sorry I missed Club member Mike Rudig, from WI, who came over while I was away.
- Saturday afternoon, an unknown fellow parked his beautiful tri-tone '55 Royal Lancer 4-dr sedan at our tent - unusual white over dark green over light green.
- Bob Jasinski's brother-in-law Mike, from MN, displayed his fine maroon '62 Dart 330 2-dr sedan, running a bored and stroked 440. We spent a few hours walking the grounds together and visiting.
We all had a great time, talking about and enjoying Forward Look Mopar experiences. The central Wisconsin weather was favorable - hot and sunny Thursday, cool Friday with some light rain in the morning, gloriously sunny on Saturday. Really bummed that my F wasn't quite ready for this road trip this year, but we had a wonderful 3 days!
