{Chrysler 300} More on Rolland Westra's 300L

I keep a digital and printed copy of every 300L data plate I have been asked to decode. Didn't think so, but I checked the records to see if I Rolland had ever requested a decoding of his car.  He did not.

Does anyone know who owns that car now?  Gloria would know.  I'll check.

That 300L certainly is rare.  It would be extremely rare if it is factory original.  If options were added later, then it would have to documented as to which options were factory installed as indicated on the data plate.  I would be glad to decode the data plate if a picture of it is sent to me.

The data plate would give the precise listing of options put on the car at the factory. As everyone knows, the Club does not have the records for the 300L.  They were combined into the whole Chrysler production.  However, I have compiled a very accurate list of what each code represents.

I would really enjoy decoding that.  Anyone have access to that data plate?

Just a thought, an L 4  speed convertible is rare enough to start (one of 15 or so?), but this L 4 speed convertible with Auto-Pilot (on a 4 speed!), factory A/C, AM/FM, power windows etc. is possibly a one of one with all those options.  Don Warnaar, would you concur?

Following up on Kurt's email, I see our late friend and 300 Club member Rolland Westra's Letter Car convertibles - white 300-H and black 4-speed 300-L - have been listed for sale by his son on Facebook.
