I believe some 3614 carbs utilized a hot idle compensator and could be used with both stick and automatic transmissions, ‘POLICE CARBURETOR’, Also better with todays gasoline. The 3615 was best used with the automatic trans. I prefer the 3614. Other than these, as stated, not really much difference.
