John Begian and I saw this same G coupe, that ran thru Mecum today, in Auburn, IN at Auction America's Labor Day 2013 auction - no body plate on the A-pillar, lots of non-factory interior mods, along with visible non-factory engine features, and the wheels. No mention of #44 (Reggie Jackson) connection in the marketing of this G back then.

The last attached photo shows the 'Reserve Lifted' but looking at RM's online site (parent of Auctions America back then) it reports this coupe was a No Sale.
We had some Club discussion of this G, and of its red twin ragtop - see my next email.
