Sorry to those outside Canada that this doesn't really apply to.
If you live in Canada and want to order to a US address, there are US companies in many border towns that offer receiving services. Currently however that is a nightmare due
to the current requirement for Canadians to provide an expensive negative PCR test and other documentation for re-entry into Canada. So, I found another way.
I discovered there are currently 'economical'
(as opposed to the ones that hold your shipments for ransom) that allow you to ship to a US address. They provide pick up services from designated locations, bringing your packages into Canada to a central location.
From there, you can pick up at their location OR arrange for shipping to your door via Canada Post. The company
I recently began using is called 'Shippsy' and is based in Ontario but has services in B.C. (Richmond).
Shippsy allows you to monitor your shipments on their website's dashboard. If you opt for the mail delivery on the Canadian side, I don't think it matters where
it crosses the border. (You would have to confirm their forwarding limitations for yourself) I pay actual duties and applicable taxes directly to them, plus a small processing fee per package. It's a bit convoluted but ends up saving the ridiculous
international rates offered by the likes of UPS, Fedex, and even USPS and in this case, allows you do order from a company that doesn't offer international shipping at all.

-- Unfortunately we do not offer international shipping on storefronts. I spoke with our storefront manager to see if an exception could be made, but unfortunately this is the case on all stores in our system at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience.” Tony Sent from my iPhone
