Thought I’d share the Hemmings article on my car.

Mr. Tom White, his son, Tom Jr. and the most recent owner, John Cote, deserve all the credit.

I just wrote the check.

It was quite fun to have the Whites there for the photo shoot. That’s Mr. White riding in the passenger seat with me. Tom Jr was driving the Hemmings mini-van while the photographer was hanging out the back taking the cover pic.

Based on personal experiences I cannot give support to a suggestion of patronizing Daytona Carburetors for repair of the WCFB. They have done well with the cleaning and the cosmetics, but several samples I've worked with had missing parts (fast idle link, missing secondary throttle return spring anchor and spring, maladjusted float setting, float dragging against bowl wall, distorted automatic choke stove, and the list goes on.
I have a lot of Carter instructional and service literature for the WCFB and I'm sure it's available to Daytona also, so there's no excuse for such errors and omissions.
