Just curious. What did you use for the fiberglass line
? I have a 55 power antenna and the line has crumbled. What would you recommend
for a replacement ?
Ron
Speaking of antennas, I have three 57 Chryslers 2 300c one Imp, all
have the same antenna, power on the right front fender. I have
restored 2 of them cause the fiberglass sling to drive the mast up and down was
damaged. All fine so far, but i realy want better chrome on the mast
sections.
All mine are brass masts but the crome almost missing you can se the
brass in spots.. can i rechrome my masts? anyone done this? new
masts?
On my 60 i fitted dual rears with new cables splitter etc, the
antenna expert I found at that time was in Florida and his name was Dennis
Turner, I have been looking for him but most likely I am out too late ..
whatever he was incredibly helpful and provided me with perfect
antennas.
Any idea on the mast is welcome..
Thanks Michael
