Hello Mike,

I saw the responses to your email re your G steering box.

First consideration is whether to rebuild it to stock specs, or to firmer specs. Most members, me included, recommend keep with stock specs, but it's certainly your preference.

Second, is to where to send it. I had the steering box on my F rebuilt by Lares about 3 years ago, and it started leaking like a sieve again later last year. I had it rebuilt this year by a local Chicago shop, and we'll see how it holds up. I strongly recommend against using Lares. A few other of my local Mopar buddies, and a couple local mechanic friends have experienced poor work product from them over the past few years - seemingly that they don't change out all the seals in the box that leads to premature failure.
