We are so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing.  I am now doubly sorry that we couldn’t make it to Carlisle this year.  He was a great friend and fun to be with and, as noted, always had a story to tell.  He will be sorely missed.

Old Jer will be missed by so many of us, coast to coast, who had the pleasure of his company.  He had a huge heart, and so many stories with his terrific gift of gab.  He came to Carlisle this July to spend some time with his 300 pals.  That took a lot of grit, but he had plenty of that to spare.  He was a super caregiver to his Gail and a very, very good friend.  We thank his best buddy, Tony Rinaldi, for helping Jerry come to say farewell.

Don't know if anyone here has heard; I just saw a notice this morning on the For C-Bodies Only list that Jer Olsen passed away.

I met Jer and marveled at his gorgeous BatWagon several years ago at Carlisle.  Had a great time talking with him and drinking his stash of St Paulie Girls.  Jer was one of a kind, and I will miss him.
