{Chrysler 300} Horn honks only when steeringwheel is pulled - any idea why?

Hello all,

 

on our 300G the horn only works if we pull the steering wheel towards us.

 

We have noticed that the plastic contact „plate“ in the column does not properly align with the indicator either.

 

Is it possible that the plastic contact switch has dropped in the column?

 

If so how do I get it up without pulling the whole steering column?

 

If not, what might be the cause?
