{Chrysler 300} 1962 Gauge Question

Hello All,

Question….
Have my Astradome that JC Auto went through, but many years ago; like 20-25 years ago.
The car had sat for about 10 years, before I got it back up & running.

Anyway….
Brand new 383 & a brand new aluminum radiator, water pump, thermostat, etc.
Everything under the hood is new.
The Oil Pressure AND Water Temp gauges seem to be running HIGHER than they should be.
- Oil Pressure gauge = basically pegged at high all the time
- Temp gauge = above mid-way; more towards hot; but a laser pointer thermometer at the radiator reads 165 degrees.

And so….
I brought a test light out.
- Grounded it
- Put the light pointer on to the top of the temp sending unit
- Clicked on the ignition switch
- The test lamp flashes; reflecting that the Oil Pressure gauge voltage limiter switch is OK
(I thought that might be why those 2 gauges were reading higher than they used to, before I parked the car; after killing the 413 I had in it!)

Any further thoughts or tests I should run?
Thanks!
