Mike, I appreciate that you intend to use all original parts, and wish you the absolute best in that endeavor. I do however, doubt that it is possible to restore a factory original fuel injected 300D, successfully, with all original parts. For one thing, even the factory was not able to do it with any acceptable level of reliability, so I highly doubt it can now be done with 63 year old parts, even if they were NOS. The capacitors alone (which I have read it contains), age out, and will not last that long and will require new replacements. I’m sure there are other electronic parts that will need replacement or technology updates to get it to run properly. Right now, the only running and driving original Chrysler 300D fuel injected car in existence is Per Blixt’ 300D, and he deserves credit for what he has accomplished. When your car is actually done and running and has more original parts than his car, you will have achieved your goal, but words alone do not make it so. Respectfully, and 300ly, Bob Jasinski 300G From: my65cuda <my65cuda@xxxxxxx> We will attempt to do it with all original factory equipment, which I have. If we are successful, my statement stands true. Mike McCandless Sent from my iPhone
