A quick review of the panels in our ’64 Konv showed there are two strips on the door and back sise panels—one 1 ½” wide and the other 5” wide. About 38” long on the doors and 14” on the back. The embossing is rather tiny. I am fortunate to have decent panels. Just a note: IMy car came to me with no back seat or side panels. I was able to get a seat but black side panels for a Konv were not available. A parts Koupe I bought had all nice panels in the same black color and I was able to cut down the back panels to fit nicely on my Konv. The Koupe back panels had a little kickup at the back which could be removed and allowed the power back windows to operate. Just a heads up if restoring a ’63-’64 conv. Happy Spring. It is available in different widths and also less expensive square cut sizes. I purchased a few cut pieces as a test and it looked OK but could not figure a way to integrate it properly to a K door panel - here is a link to a Zoro sales page. You can find further sizes/rolls/cut pieces there.

It took them almost 8 months to get back to me. They did a very nice job. The silver foil was close but not exactly correct. I feel that when they did mine they were a one or two man outfit. They may have more people working now. I never tried to remove the foil and could never find any that was close to replace it. Don’t know if that really happens but it could make sense. Pete On Sunday, March 21, 2021, 6:12 PM, ALLAN POZDOL <apozdol@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
