Bob,

300J power windows should be operational with the ignition on or off.  Also the power seat(s) and power antenna (if so equipped).

I have a 300J.

The power windows work only when the key is on.

I have not investigated the wiring but

I don't think this is normal for a J.

What say you?

And have you seen any other letter cars where

the power windows are switched at the ignition?
