Thanks you all for input regarding my brake drum knurl stud idea. Info forced me to run to the garage clean up the drum better and have a closer look. So studs & hubs are perfect, drum mesured and is std 12in. There is absolutely no ridge from band wear, inside is hub and drum brown color hand marked yellow nr is 3020 so original it can be. My concere is rust pits, it is very difficult to tell the depth of the pits...looks like a 0,0039in cut will clean them up as brand new. Called an old brake service shop and they will try set the drum up in tolerance so they can resurface my drum. They told to bring my new brake shoes so they can make sure they have the same radius as the drum, if not they will machine them to fit. They have band materials so they can apply the best old school bands of there liking.. Idea go new route,,,machine shop next stop!
