Re: [Chrysler300] 1957 chrysler 300C 120 mph speedometers

I sat it does not make any differ if car had single or dual HL. If a C was coming down the line and no 150 where on hand, a 120 was installed. My C has a 120. Single head lights went on cars shipping to states that had not approved duals. By 58 all states had approved, I think.

Thats a fact some of the 57300C 's came from the factory with 120 mph speedometers  . my  57 300C came with one and dual headlights. some had single headlights. Chrysler put what ever they had in stock on a car to make a buck! I have rebuilt Engines for over 55 years. Chrysler was the worst to have a crankshaft  with .002 under size mains or rod bearings.  some of the blocks were bored .010 oversize from the factory. oversize lifters .010 . some were coded on the block others were not. they threw nothing away if they could make it work.larryjw7@xxxxxxxxx
