Good Morning John,

Have you tried Eastwood - www.eastwood.com ? They sell argent wheel paint in 12 oz aerosol for about $15, but their site says it's out of stock until August 18th.

My wife's '06 Audi had kissed a few too many curbs with it's low profile tires, and its aluminum rims were looking a little shabby. I went over to the Eastwood store near me and picked up a can. I didn't need to spray the entire wheels, but just touch up the perimeters, as you're saying. Brushed it on, the paint color matched well, and it's held up great for about 3 years now. The wheels look as good as the day I touched them up.

Looking at reviews and info on Eastwood's website -

• One complained that his paint crinkled. Seems he sprayed over uncured paint already on his wheels. Said Eastwood's argent paint is acetone-based.
• A few gripes about the spray can nozzle.
  
• Eastwood says they matched the color to GM's rally wheels. But, there's one comment on their site from a Mopar guy - "This product is the right color for Mopar wheels. The can easily does 4 wheel fronts. Great coverage and easy to apply.
  
• It's only sold in these 12 oz. aerosol cans.
  

Side story - While in the store buying the paint, one of Eastwood's guys saw my F parked out front, admired it, and asked me if I knew his buddy Len Lulich. Len is restoring a really solid E coupe that I had seen at a couple cruise events, and so we shared stories about Len and his E!

If I lived a little closer to you, I give you my partially used can!

Hi , we all need this , used behind bumpers etc tried to find touch up or , less desirable , spray , — Chrysler has about 100 variants of silver , metallic , flat , gloss , clear coat etc . Plus variants on the color itself . After a lot of work looking , year one sells a spray can( 50$ by the time you add all the BS) for argent B body road wheels which — from memory — is close to our argent . Took a chance ..
What I really need is touch up paint , but — unbelievably to me ... that is now often clear coat too. Will end up a blob .
And spray cans clog .
Any ideas out there ?
