RE: [Chrysler300] J/K Ram car inner fenders question

A friend had a 300F that was missing the access panels. He made a new set by cutting out sections from a set of New Yorker inner fenders. He borrowed my access panels to form the new ones and they came out nice. Most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference mounted in the car. He’s since sold the car.

The ones for 1960-61 300s are different from other cars because of the longer wheelbase. If you could find a set of ’64 ones to borrow, you might be able to do the same thing with two sets of inner fenders.

Folks

I’ve got pretty much everything, I think, to convert my 4 speed K to the J/K rams with the exception of the inner fenders with the plates. My understanding is that the spark plugs are virtually inaccessible if you don’t have these inner fenders?

Has anyone installed the complete ram setup , including the exhaust manifolds, and still be able to reach the plugs with the non-ram inner fenders?

Alternatively, does anyone have a set of inner fenders or, at a minimum, decent access panels for a J or ram K that would work if I surgically removed enough sheet metal on my existing inner fenders to allow for attaching the access panels to roughly mimic a factory setup?
