I have two (2) clear 1962 300 side emblems that never had any paint on them. Don’t remember who I got them from or if they were with a 62 300m I had brought. Really in good shape. (Excerpts) Thanks, Jeff. Rich Barber Brentwood, CA From: JC Auto Restoration, Inc. <parts@xxxxxxxxxx> Hi Rich, As to the 300 medallion, I have an NOS one of those as well (without the chrome bezel). I got it from Merle Wolfer back in the late '80s, before he sold the 300F Special to Wayne Graefen. The plastic medallion is the exact one used from 1957-'61 on the Chrysler 300 quarter panels, but the holes for the letters weren't drilled. Merle stated at the time that some of these were released in the early-mid 1960s as service replacements once the individual alphabet letters had gone NS-1. In this way the letters could be transferred to the new medallion if desired, yet it didn't look unfinished without the letter. I don't know what the chrome bezel is from, but I suspect it and the medallion were married together to make a display piece at some point. Cool looking piece for sure Jeff JC Auto Restoration, Inc. __._,_.___ Posted by: "Jerry Lindsay" <jerrylindsay300h@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang __,_._,___ |
