when you take the speaker out, check it before you go any further. If the radio is completely silent ( no pops or clicks when powered on), the speaker could be bad. Just hook a cell of any kind across the terminals and listen for some scratchy noise. you may be able to do this from under the dash without removing the speaker. If the speaker is OK, you will need to pull the radio Sheldon Wotring PA ----- Original Message ----- From: "'william ELDER' belder@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300]" <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Plotkin Associates" <plotkin_associates@xxxxxxxxxxx>, chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, June 3, 2019 12:09:20 PM Subject: RE: [Chrysler300] Removal of Radio in 64 300 K convert RADIO REMOVAL, from the service manual: 1. disconnect the battery ground cable. 2. remove the upper and lower instrument panel mouldings.
