Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] HOOD OPENING PULL CABLE
Curtis,
I’m not aware of anyone reproducing these, but let’s get input from other Club members. You may need to have a new cable attached to your pull handle.
If you’re trying to open your hood, use a foot long flat paint stir stick. It should slide in between your hood and grille to push open the hood latch pretty easily. I always carry one of those sticks with me.
On my F, the correct cable end that hooks to the hood latch was not on it when I got the car 15 years ago, but a functional piece was added. Perhaps the original cable broke on mine, and the hood end was lost.

Well, bummer...I knew it was going to happen because it was extremely difficult to open.. can anyone tell me where to find the hood opening cable kit for a 1960 300F with the t-handle?
Thanks in advance,
Curtis
