Re: [Chrysler300] head liner water stains

I had mouse urine stains on the vinyl trim of a full rear seat back and used a household cleaner to remove them.  When I flushed it with water and air dried the seat there was a stain on the fabric from water overflow.  I removed the seat back and leaned it against a firm surface as thought it was still in the car, and flushed it from the top down with water until it was uniformly wet.  After air drying it was beautiful and looked better than the remainder of the upholstery.  I removed all the seat cushions with the same result.  After cleaning the vinyl door panels the interior matches and is now radiant.  I was using well water (no chlorine) and would recommend distilled water rather than that with chlorine.

Head liner water stains.

How do you remove them?

The list of things tried:
mineral spirits
alcohol
carpet cleaner
Go Jo hand cleaner with pumice
hand soap
Murphy's oil soap
tooth brush
scrub brush

Results:
sore arms
and
some improvement

Is there a secret?
I'm all ears.
