I did a incremental upgrade to my Dad's car (the original owner) one of the things touched on was the cooling system. The radiator was removed and boiled out overnight then blown out. Inspection and a flow test showed it to be clean as new. Runs at the correct temp at all times. also rebuilt the gas gauge which shows along with the temp gauge and all is right with the world.  The car is a 1964 K but should be similar. New hoses and thermostat sort of was the final touch. John Holst...(in the middle of a flooding tragedy)

There is an outfit in California that advertises in a Mopar  magazine out of Louisiana  ( if you get by the political rants in that magazine) that is reproducing early mopar radiators . Pricey but appears to offer 4 row original type cores . If you get a new core installed should be just as good , but hesitant about “cleaned out or reconditioned “  radiators   .
