Hey Dan,

I've been driving a G for 32 years this month, been an active club member almost as long and never heard of anyone adding an electric fan. These cars worked when new and will work now if kept in "as new" mechanical shape or close.

We need more info to help. How do you know it's overheating? Is this a new problem? Has there been recent work done on the car? Does it have air conditioning?

Has the radiator and/or engine been rebuilt in the last couple decades? In my experience water passages in radiator and block being clogged up after all these years is a common problem. Not something a garden hose flush can help. Other possibilities I've had less luck with include timing, fan clutch or thermostat

Good luck,
Andy

My 300G gets scarily close to overheating while idling. I am thinking of adding an electric fan.
Has anyone here done this? Thanks Dan
