To all with respect: I know there are exceptions to every rule and notwithstanding the below post, I have had terrible results using brokers. They bid out the job to rigs just driving around the freeways looking for cars. The bids come on line, they bid on line right from the rig, they win the bid and they come get your car and pay the broker a finders fee. You may be first on a load or last and they drive around ‘till the rig is full and then start dropping them off. You ask for a delivery date and they continually push you back because of the haphazard way that they fill and empty their loads. I have found shoddy gear, inexperienced drivers and swampers and your car gets moved forward and back, up and down depending on how they pick up cars and drop them off. Generally what I thought I saved in the bid, I ended up paying on the other end either in a car with a nudge on it or waiting up to two weeks to get the damn thing. I’d stick with the top flight guys, like Reliable. And, if the car is worth more than a hen house, send it enclosed. You pay up but you can sleep nights and stay calm.
Just my opinion and my experience. Mark.
