The originals were the plastic emblems. They were reproduced by an outfit in Ohio called Emblemagic. The club decided to have the decals made in part because they were cheaper and in part, if the truth be told, because George didn’t like Emblemagic. When I took my newly restored G to Don Cole’s meet in Pennsylvania, George complimented me on the car in general, and on the rear deck emblem in particular, not know its source. He the got up at the business meeting and lambasted Emblemagic as producing nothing but crap and said we shouldn’t buy anything from them. Of course I didn’t tell George that the emblem on my rear deck came from Emblemagic. Regards to all, Pete Fitch
